Internships provide students with comprehensive, hands-on practical and technical experience in a fast-paced environment for a wide range of neurological conditions and injuries. NeuAbility has created a community for like-minded individuals to encourage and support each other throughout their journey of recovery and strength.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Health/Exercise related field
- Knowledge of internal and external body structures
- Experience working one-on-one as a personal trainer
- Desire and passion to help those living with a disability
- Be able to lift 50-100 lbs
What To Expect:
Adaptive Exercise certificate after completion of volunteer/internship experience
In-depth experience working side-by-side with Specialists
Hands-on experience working with state-of-the-art equipment
Great opportunity to work with passionate staff and motivated clients
Immediate integration into a community of staff, clients, and fellow interns
Additional Information:
- This is an unpaid internship program.
The state of Colorado requires all interns to be covered by worker’s compensation insurance. This must be provided by the University and cannot be provided by NeuAbility. Contact your University advisor for more information about meeting this requirement.
